Mahindra plans to launch its entry level model Rockstar Centuro at an affordable market price of Rs 44,710 (ex-showroom Ahmedabad) that costs Rs 6000 lesser than the outgoing Centuro in the selected states of Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.The manufacturer nourish the upcoming model with some cosmetic upgrades that includes new decals, LED pilot lamps, telescopic front forks with hydraulic dampers, five-step adjustable rear shocks with coil over spring and LED tail lamps while retaining the same black alloy wheels unlike entry-level commuter bikes that get spoke wheels.The 106.7 cc single cylinder air-cooled MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 curve) four-stroke engine which powers the variants O1 and N1 is said to power the Rockstar edition of Centuro at the power of 8.38bhp and torque of 8.5 Nm,that gets mated to a four-speed gearbox.The presence of self-starter along with kick start lever has been maintained as the standard of Mahindra family.Through its fascinating features,it is expected to be a competitor against the Hero MotoCorp Splendor, Bajaj Discover 100 M and the Honda Dream Neo.
